The Republicans’ staggering incompetent and dishonest response to the Coronavirus is literally killing people that didn’t have to die, and destroying far more many lives by destroying the economy. People have to know what has really happened.
So hell yes, their catastrophic failures need to be politicized. After this, no one should vote for a Republican for at least 100 years. They have failed that miserably. Everyone who is for miserable failure that kills your loved ones and destroys the economy, raise your hand. The rest of you, vote these incompetent, lying scumbags out of office.
On March 9, less than two weeks ago, Larry Bucshon sent out an incomprehensibly irresponsible email telling us that the chance of getting Coronavirus was considered low. Many people will die because of Bucshon’s irresponsibility. Lives would have been saved if instead of telling us to go on about our business, he would have done like all the experts were begging and told us to self-isolate.
At the time of Bucshon’s death letter, the world’s leading experts were predicting, based on mathematics, that 40 to 70 percent of the world’s population would become infected. But the lie that few would get infected was what the Trump administration was saying, so all the flunkies were called on to parrot it. So Larry Bucshon, Fox News, the Nazis, the Klan, and all the other Republican propaganda sites fell in line.
Now, a little less than two weeks later, we know that they were all lying. All of them but the dumbest of the dumb knew they were lying at the time, but that’s what they were told to do, so that’s what they did. They always tell the lies they are told to tell. Time after time. And frankly, anyone who was paying attention knew they were lying at the time.
On March 9, there were 3 confirmed Coronavirus cases in Indiana and 213 confirmed cases nationwide. Today, less than two weeks later, there are more roughly 100 confirmed cases in Indiana and 10442 confirmed cases in the US. That exponential increase was entirely predictable based on the mathematics of exponential change. Those numbers were, in fact, predicted.
The staggering increases we are going to see in the coming weeks have been predicted as well.
I described Bucshon’s irresponsibility in sending that misinformation, which will no doubt be responsible for many deaths, as incomprehensible, but unfortunately, it is all too comprehensible. Bucshon puts politics, extremist ideology and misguided loyalty to an incompetent sociopath pathological liar with no regard for anyone but himself, much less this country, much much less people like you.
Larry Bucshon seems like he was probably a good man once, but he is lost. We have got to vote him out, and the elephant he rode in on..
